Who am I?
Firstly, Iād like to invite you all to enjoy your silly! It is now my sole purpose to help all kids and parents to enjoy your silly.
I was born and raised in South London, and as a child, I had big dreams of becoming a writer. However, my journey was hindered by dyslexia. After being expelled from school at the tender age of 15, I pursued different careers. At the age of twenty-five, I decided to seek help for dyslexia and took it upon myself to learn how to read.

With relentless determination, I managed to progress to where I am today, residing in Los Angeles, California with my husband, son, and our beloved rescue dogs.
Note from the author:
I wrote my books to help my son understand his silly, and they have worked as a great tool to explain behaviors and open conversations. Two years after writing the Day My Clock Broke and the Monster books, my son was diagnosed with ADHD and ASD (autism spectrum disorder).
The psychologist who diagnosed my son told me that she believed that if it was not for our support and teaching strategies our son might not have even made it into the school system. Therefore it is my strong opinion that teaching ALL kids how to manage their emotions will set then up for success. And so, my books are for all kids.
